I found this little tidbit via Andrew R. Sorkin, it's a letter sent to President Obama from a wealthy CEO. Sounds like the OWS movement has gotten to him and his buddies. Unfortunately, he sent it to the wrong person. You be the judge!

Police State
Apparently, the OWS movement is now being treated by police as though protesters are living in a Police State. The video of protesters in CA getting pepper-sprayed as they sit in a peaceful, albeit resistant posture, is reprehensible. Haven't the police been briefed about the parameters of a protest, including civil disobedience? Is it appropriate to assault and beat the protesters? If the movement turns violent, which I am hopeful will not occur, I'm sure it will be in response to the police antagonizing the protesters with their abusive tactics.
The police Commissioner as well as the Mayor of any City that allows police brutality should resign!
I am one of the 99% and will continue to support this protest any way I can.
